How many hours do I need to commit every week?

You need to commit a total of 8-10 hours every week to make the best out of PgCTL.

  • 4 hours of live classes every week
  • 2 hours (at a time of learner’s choice) on online assessments and assignments
  • 2 hours (at a time of learner’s choice) on self-study on Suraasa’s online platform.
If I opt-out of the course at any point during the course, will I get a refund?

The registration fee is non-refundable. The refund is carefully calculated depending on modules completed, services availed and time remaining etc.

In what curriculums and grades will I be eligible to teach after completing PgCTL?

You will be eligible to teach in any classroom across any curriculum. You can teach any grade from kindergarten to 12th standard in a K-12 school after completing PgCTL

What will be the return on investment after completing the course?

That depends on a lot of factors such as current income, previous teaching experience, skills etc. but the starting salaries of qualified teachers in top schools generally ranges from INR 6,00,000/year to INR 25,00,000/year. If Learning investment in a course is less than Target annual salary - Current Salary, it’s a good investment.

Am I eligible to enrol for PgCTL? What all qualifications do I need beforehand?

PgCTL is for teachers like you who wish to create high-impact learning environments.
A candidate needs to meet all of the following conditions to be eligible for PgCTL:

  • Either you are currently employed in an appropriate teaching role or you are looking for a teaching role as the program requires practical work in a teaching context
  • You have an Undergraduate Degree (Bachelors in some subject) or equivalent from a regionally accepted institution
  • You have English proficiency at a level of B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) or equivalent (e.g. IELTS level 6).
